How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Graduated 1991 from Otterbein College with a double major in Business and Computer Science with a double minor in Art and Photography. It was an education that has helped propel us into internet and local distribution... and with a flare for staying on the forefront of industrial distribution
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a first in offering a site that you can create customized hoses online and order immediately, www.hosemachine.com, we have a first with the ability to track and get information about hoses with our 'dog tags' attached to each hose we make as a free service. That site is www.hosedog.com and we have several concepts in the works that are even more progressive in nature.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
1 and would like to keep it that way. It is our goal to do more with less.

The corner of Carroll St and Annadale St, Downtown Akron, Akron University / Summa Hospital area. From Route 8 take Carroll Street Exit and go East on Carroll. We are down a half a block on the right hand side.
