The Akron Bearing Company is proud to serve the needs of local industry with the most complete inventory of bearings, power transmission, and related maintenance products in Northeast Ohio. Since 1940 we have maintained the same philosophy, that customer needs can best be served by employing a long term, knowledgeable sales force, maintaining an extensive inventory, and aligning with manufactures that provide quality products on a cost effective basis. Customers buy from the Akron Bearing Company because they trust that our fourth generation expertise is available to do what it takes to get the right product at the right time in their hands to keep their facilities running.
Initially the Akron Bearing Company catered mostly to the vast trucking industry located in pre-World War II Akron, Ohio. However today we are serving all types of industry from farmers to food manufacturing facilities, from auto repair to auto manufacturers, and from the small one-man shops to the largest manufacturing plants in Northeast Ohio. Over the years our product line has expanded from mostly wheel and transmission bearings and seals to also include all types of ball, roller and friction bearings, mounted bearings, linear bearings, belt and chain drives, gear reducers, lubricants, electric motors and controls, and much more.

The World Headquarters in Akron, Ohio is our only planned location.

1965 S. Arlington Road at the intersection with Swartz Road. We are 3/4 of a mile south of Waterloo Road and 2.5 miles north of the Arlington Road exit off I-77
What type of payments do you accept?
All major credit cards, cash and checks with proper ID.
Which areas do you service?
Northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania is our base. However we have sold bearings all over the world.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Akron Bearing is a family owned and operated business.
What are your hours of operation?
7 AM - 5 PM week days and 8 am to noon Saturdays
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Fantastic! I tried the other guys and they did not have it in stock, now my equipment is running rather than downtime costing money!
